PACE will hold an Extraordinary General Assembly by teleconference on Saturday, June 13, 2020, in order to appoint an interim Board of Administrators. Composed of outgoing Administrators, its mission shall be to prepare the face-to-face Ordinary General Assembly that will take place in Brussels, on August 22, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

juillet 2016 – S\u00e9minaire \u00e0 C\u00e9reste<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le s\u00e9minaire de C\u00e9reste 2016 a eu lieu du 14 au 17 juillet. Ces quatre journ\u00e9es enrichissantes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 l’occasion pour les membres et les sympathisants de PACE d’\u00e9changer sur la strat\u00e9gie de PACE pour les \u00e9lections pr\u00e9sidentielle et l\u00e9gislatives fran\u00e7aises, de faire un premier bilan de LaPrimaire.org<\/a>, de d\u00e9couvrir les premiers extraits de la biographie de notre candidat \u00e0 l’\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle Philippe Mazuel, d’\u00e9changer sur les id\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Dans le cadre de ce s\u00e9minaire a eu lieu la premi\u00e8re Journ\u00e9e Th\u00e9matique, sur le th\u00e8me de la r\u00e9novation de la vie publique.<\/p>\n

Voici le programme du candidat Philippe Mazuel concernant la r\u00e9novation de la vie publique:<\/p>\n

\u2013 cr\u00e9ation du S\u00e9nat Citoyen<\/strong>: les S\u00e9nateurs seront des citoyens tir\u00e9s au sort et des repr\u00e9sentants des forces vives de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, (en remplacement du Conseil \u00e9conomique et social qui sera supprim\u00e9).<\/p>\n

\u2013 mise en place d\u2019un quota de jeunes<\/strong> \u00e0 chaque \u00e9lection: 30% des candidats devront avoir moins de 40 ans.<\/p>\n

\u2013 reconnaissance du vote blanc<\/strong>: si le vote blanc est majoritaire, il peut invalider le r\u00e9sultat de l\u2019\u00e9lection concern\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

\u2013 interdiction du cumul des mandats<\/strong> dans l\u2019espace et dans le temps (un seul mandat \u00e0 la fois, pas plus de deux mandats cons\u00e9cutifs).
En outre, lorsqu\u2019on abandonne un mandat pour cause de non cumul, il n\u2019est pas autoris\u00e9 de s\u2019augmenter sur l\u2019autre mandat pour compenser le revenu \u00ab perdu \u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u2013 interdiction de recruter un membres de sa famille proche<\/strong> comme collaborateur parlementaire ou membre de son cabinet.<\/p>\n

juin 2016 – PACE \u00e0 Brighton et \u00e0 Londres \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du referendum<\/strong><\/p>\n

3 membres de PACE se sont rendus en Angleterre, \u00e0 Brighton et Londres du 22 au 24 juin 2016 pour manifester leur solidarit\u00e9 aux \u00ab remainers \u00bb du referendum portant sur le maintien ou la sortie du Royaume-Uni de l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne. PACE tenait \u00e0 \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent sur place pour vivre ce moment historique qui s\u2019est sold\u00e9 par un vote en faveur du Brexit.<\/p>\n

A Brighton, nous avons tract\u00e9 avec des membres du camp \u00ab stronger in \u00bb. Les habitants de Brighton ont sembl\u00e9 \u00eatre majoritairement en faveur du “remain”, ce que les r\u00e9sultats du referendum ont confirm\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Nous nous sommes rendu \u00e0 Londres le jour m\u00eame du referendum o\u00f9 nous avons rejoint nos amis de l\u2019association New Europeans<\/a><\/strong> devant la maison de l\u2019Europe londonienne. Nous avons ensuite visit\u00e9 les locaux du camp \u00ab stronger in \u00bb o\u00f9 les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles faisaient une campagne d\u2019appel pour convaincre les citoyens d\u2019aller voter.<\/p>\n

Le 24 au matin nous avons eu les r\u00e9sultats d\u00e9finitifs de ce vote qui s\u2019est fait en faveur du Brexit. Nous avons communiqu\u00e9 la position de PACE face \u00e0 ce r\u00e9sultat sur nos r\u00e9seaux sociaux et avons rejoint nos amis de New Europeans pour discuter ensemble des cons\u00e9quences de ce vote.<\/p>\n

juin 2016 – Assembl\u00e9e G\u00e9n\u00e9rale PACE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le nouveau conseil d\u2019administration a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu \u00e0 l\u2019unanimit\u00e9 lors de l\u2019AG du 11 juin 2016 qui s\u2019est tenue \u00e0 Bruxelles. 4 des membres sortants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 reconduits. 3 nouveaux membres, Tim OTWAY, Mariapia STERNATIVO et Alex USUNOV int\u00e8grent l\u2019\u00e9quipe.<\/p>\n

Conform\u00e9ment au droit belge, les bilans d\u2019activit\u00e9s et budgets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

9 mai 2016 – F\u00eate de l’Europe \u00e0 H\u00e9nin-Beaumont<\/strong>

Pour la troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive, le Parti des citoyens europ\u00e9ens (PACE) a organis\u00e9 la f\u00eate de l\u2019Europe \u00e0 H\u00e9nin-Beaumont<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Dans la matin\u00e9e, nous nous sommes rendus devant le monument aux morts d\u2019H\u00e9nin-centre pour rendre hommage aux morts d\u2019H\u00e9nin-Beaumont et de toute l\u2019Europe qui se sont sacrifi\u00e9s pour la libert\u00e9 de la France, et de l\u2019Europe. A partir de 15 heures, nous avons invit\u00e9 les citoyens \u00e0 venir \u00e9changer avec le candidat de PACE \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle, Philippe Mazuel. Cette journ\u00e9e s\u2019est cl\u00f4tur\u00e9e par un ap\u00e9ritif europ\u00e9en.<\/p>\n

15 f\u00e9vrier 2016 – Inauguration de la section Abbeville\/Picardie Maritime<\/strong><\/p>\n

PACE a inaugur\u00e9 \u00e0 Abbeville, le vendredi 15 f\u00e9vrier 2016, son antenne Picardie Maritime.<\/p>\n

Cette r\u00e9union a permis de rassembler des citoyen(ne)s de tout horizons autour de la pr\u00e9sentation du Parti des Citoyens Europ\u00e9ens et de l’avant-programme pr\u00e9sidentiel de Philippe MAZUEL. David MONGIN, responsable de section, a ensuite pris la parole afin de se pr\u00e9senter plus en d\u00e9tails et d’exposer ses id\u00e9es pour la r\u00e9gion. A cette occasion, M. Vincent HERVE, journaliste au Courrier Picard, a couvert l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n

7 f\u00e9vrier 2016 – Journ\u00e9e de la citoyennet\u00e9 europ\u00e9enne \u00e0 Lille et \u00e0 Berlin<\/strong><\/p>\n

A l’occasion de l’anniversaire de la signature du trait\u00e9 de Maastricht le 7 F\u00e9vrier 1992<\/strong> cr\u00e9ant la citoyennet\u00e9 europ\u00e9enne<\/strong>, le Parti des citoyens europ\u00e9ens (PACE) a cr\u00e9\u00e9 la Journ\u00e9e de la Citoyennet\u00e9 Europ\u00e9enne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A Lille<\/strong>, une action de rue a eu lieu sur la place Charles de Gaulle (Grand’Place) lors de laquelle les passants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 mat\u00e9rialiser sur des panneaux participatifs leurs voyages en Europe et \u00e0 exprimer leurs questionnements, inqui\u00e9tudes, remarques ou id\u00e9es sur la citoyennet\u00e9 europ\u00e9enne et l’Union europ\u00e9enne.<\/p>\n

A Berlin<\/strong>, une conf\u00e9rence-d\u00e9bat a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9e au si\u00e8ge allemand de PACE sur le th\u00e8me de Schengen et a \u00e9t\u00e9 suivie d’un morceau de jazz.<\/p>\n

September 2015 – France – PACE & EFP (European Federalist Party) allied for the French Regional elections<\/strong><\/p>\n

PACE held an extraordinary general assembly on 27 September in its headquarters at H\u00e9nin-Beaumont. On that occasion, the decision has been taken to conclude an alliance with the European Federalist Party (EFP) in view of the French regional elections of December 2015, in particular in Region Nord-Pas-de-Calais-Picardie (Head of the regional list: Yves GERNIGON).<\/p>\n

The EFP and PACE ARE SEARCHING CANDIDATES TO COMPLEMENT THEIR LIST (which must include 180 candidates!) to bear the project of A YOUNG REGION OF 6 MILLION CITIZENS FULLY ANCHORED IN EUROPE IN ORDER TO PLAY A KEY ROLE IN THE INCEPTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF AN ‘EQUI-ECONOMY’ (a balanced economy) OF SOLIDARITY, FULLY CREATIVE AND AT THE FOREFRONT FOR ENVIRONMENT AND ‘COMMONS’. July 2015 – Philippe Mazuel in Athens for the Referendum<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Philippe<\/p>\n

Philippe Mazuel went to ATHENS from 2 to 6 July to bring PACE’s support to the Greek people in the difficult times they are going through, to discuss with as many Greek citizens as possible, in order to better understand the situation, and to participate in the referendum.<\/p>\n

He visited The <\/strong>Metropolitan<\/strong> Community Clinic at Helliniko <\/strong>which provides FREE medical assistance to the unemployed and poor citizens with no social security or with a very low income (about 30% of the population !<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

PACE’S 8th annual Ordinary General Assembly took place in Brussels (10, rue du Nid, 1050) on Saturday 13th June, 2015. Rodolph Castel (Paris), Caroline von Dungern (Dusseldorf), Alexandra Karwat (Berlin) and Philippe Mazuel (Paris) were reelected as members of the board, and a new member was elected: Filip Dumitriu (Lille & Bucharest).<\/p>\n

9th May 2015 – Pace celebrates Europe Day in H\u00e9nin-Beaumont<\/strong><\/p>\n

As it did in 2014, PACE celebrated Europe Day, on 9th May 2015, in H\u00e9nin-Beaumont. In the morning, an homage was paid to the soldiers who gave their lives for France and the Freedom of Europe. After Philippe Mazuel (France) and Caroline von Dungern (Germany) had delivered a short speech, a minute of silence was observed and a wreath inspired from the European flag was laid.<\/p>\n

Anl\u00e4\u00dflich einer Wahlveranstaltung zur Europawahl 2014 der \u201eParti des Citoyens Europ\u00e9ens\u201c (PACE) haben zwei junge Vertreter aus Paris einen Abstecher zur Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t gemacht, um mit 22 Studenten eines Franz\u00f6sischkurses (Niveau C1) mit Schwerpunkt \u201ePolitique\u201c zu diskutieren. Ihr Motto lautet: Jugend, Interkulturalit\u00e4t, Mehrsprachigkeit und Transnationalit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n

Nach einigen Erl\u00e4uterungen zu den Neuerungen in den europ\u00e4ischen Institutionen ab Mai 2014, insbesondere die quasi direkte Wahl des Pr\u00e4sidenten der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission, haben unsere Studenten Fragen zur Motivation, zum Programm dieser Partei gestellt und ebenso aufgeschlossen wie kritisch diskutiert, etwa \u00fcber die Vorschl\u00e4ge zum Europapass oder zur Migrationspolitik Europas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Es entwickelte sich eine sehr interessante Diskussion \u00fcber die Wurzeln unseres Europas und was uns verbindet: einige Studenten fanden, dass PACE zu sehr an der Hegemonie Frankreichs und Deutschlands im Verbund aller 28 L\u00e4nder festh\u00e4lt. Andere meinten, dass man sich auch europ\u00e4isch f\u00fchlen kann, wenn man hier lebt, auch wenn man nicht aus einem der EU Staaten stammt (Europa soll sich also weiter \u00f6ffnen!). Schlie\u00dflich \u00e4u\u00dferte sich ein Student aus Asien: den europ\u00e4ischen B\u00fcrgern fehlt einfach der n\u00f6tige Stolz auf Europa, der den Zement f\u00fcr eine kulturelle Einheit bildet.<\/p>\n

Nach einer Stunde stand es 1 zu 1. Unsere Studenten fanden die Grundideen PACEs interessant, \u2013 obwohl manchmal noch ein wenig vage, und das ehrenamtliche Engagement dieser jungen Leute auf jeden Fall lobenswert. Unsere G\u00e4ste waren beeindruckt vom Interesse, von der Qualit\u00e4t und Tiefe der Fragen der Studenten und sind dankbar f\u00fcr diese Chance in direkten Kontakt mit politisch aufgeweckten Studenten zu treten.<\/p>\n

Ein gro\u00dfes Dankesch\u00f6n auch von mir an alle f\u00fcr den interkulturellen Austausch und die gemeinsame, respektvolle Reflexion!<\/p>\n

January 2014 – PACE supports the initiative “ICH WILL EUROPA” (I want Europe)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The PArty of the Citizens of Europe (PACE, aisbl[1]), a young transnational political movement, has given itself the mission to contribute to the creation of a European integrated political area ; in other words, to the development within the European Union of a 5th Freedom: the free movement of political ideas[2], which are today prisoners of national frames (i.e. political parties) and national intellectual concepts.<\/p>\n

Given the weight taken by European affairs in our daily life (i.e. common legislation, single currency, solidarity policies, competition policy..), and the perspective of further transfers of competences from the Member States to the European Union, in particular as regards budgetary and economic issues, it appears to us indispensable indeed to encourage the setting up of genuine European political parties so that citizens may debate, outside the limits of the national frames, on the main European stakes and decide upon the actions to be undertaken to face them, then bearing these ideas onto the political stage.<\/p>\n

That evolution towards a progressive merging of the European political landscape, today broken up into 27 national areas, is an ambitious objective, however necessary to accompany in a democratic manner the coming transfers of sovereignty and then to manage jointly the policies that will stem from them, both in the European Parliament and within a European “Government” (the European Commission) which will be elected by the European Parliament.<\/p>\n

To succeed in launching this dynamic, it is paramount to strengthen the human foundations of European integration, i.e. mutual knowledge and understanding between Europeans through cultural and educational exchanges like ERASMUS.<\/p>\n

As initiative \u00ab Ich will Europa \u00bb is contributing to, it is also urgent to boost the motivation of the citizens for European integration since the main enemy of the European project is indifference.<\/p>\n

The PArty of the Citizens of Europe (PACE) stands at the disposal of \u00ab Ich will Europa \u00bb to envisage joint actions of sensitization.<\/p>\n

The PArty of the Citizens of Europe (pace, aisbl) is a young transnational political movement, which aims to reduce the gap between European politics and European citizens as well as voicing the latter’s concerns.<\/p>\n

The intercultural exchange serves as a tool with which one can get to know, and better understand, one’s neighbours. It is only by grasping the ways of thinking of the various European citizens that we can fully benefit from our diversity and work effectively together for the future of Europe and of its member states.<\/p>\n

On this basis, we welcome and support the German initiative “Ich will Europa \u2013 eine Initiative der Engagierten Europ\u00e4er” \u2013 an initiative of the Engaged Europeans \u2013 and hope that it will encourage our European fellow citizens to launch similar projects in their own countries.<\/p>\n

On the occasion of its 2nd Summer School, PACE held a civic action at Brandenburg Gate, BERLIN, on 22nd August, to start sensitizing the European citizens to the fact that from now on, they can choose the President of the European Commission. The European elections of 25th May, 2014, will therefore give the opportunity to all of us to “give Europe a face”.<\/p>\n
